For this Mani I used Sinful Colors "All About You" (gold sparkle) over "This is It"
This is It had a little more sparkle and was thinner than I was anticipating, but I like the color - especially next to All About You. At first I was just going for "accent nails" but changed my mind once I got into it and made every other nail a diagonal design. I could see a few gems on the line or maybe a strip of gold tape.
All About You took 3 applications (over 1 coat of This is It) but I wanted it to be very sparkly - you have to watch because it likes to "float", but it fixes easily! I smudged one while it was "tacky" and just a dab of the polish smoothed it right out - LOVE that!
I have to tell you that the diagonal design was SO easy this time! I had tried to do the Pinterest thing with scotch tape but that never made a clean line and took off polish. This time I used (really inexpensive but not cheap looking) nail tape I bought on amazon.com (check out the "buy this together" - I also got 3000 gems and 15 brushes and I think the total was $8)! I did 2 nails at a time, removed the tape strips after the second application and used the same tape on my other fingers! The tape made a seriously straight line with no mess-ups.
Watch my Manicure Monday Posts because in a few weeks I am going to be reviewing some Jamberry Nail Shields from My Lil Jems - I'm pretty excited since it will be their new design that is thinner and has better adhesive!

I have that same Sinful Colors gold and it is very thin. I have had to use it over white and still needed a few coats but I like it!
Yours looks great. I have been avoiding Amazon but I did get some nail dotters and a few gems waiting for them to come in the mail..
Thank you for linking up. Looking forward to connecting!
Love that gold color!
The gold is gorgeous and your nails look lovely. :)
Sinful is really up and down with the quality, so i just said forget it. But the color does look nice here.
I love this on you. But, I agree with Tori. Sometimes the quality is good but sometimes it's just okay. Very pretty!
I have both of those colors in my sinful colors collection. I love what you did with them!
