Zachary and I had the opportunity to review Real Kids Shades , a leading maker and provider of sunglasses for children.
By advocating sun safety through their Safe Eyes Everyday program, RKS helps parents provide serious sun protection for babies, toddlers, and kids up to age 12. All Real Kids Shades provide comfort, durability, and safety. Their rigorous product testing program assures all Real Kids Shades are CPSIA Compliant, CE Certified, and FDA Approved to provide 100% UVA and UVB protection.
Zachary received his very own package in the mail with 2 pairs of Shades for him and 2 to share with his cousin! We tried out both pairs of the Flex Duo (I'm sure his cousin won't mind that he tried on his pair too):

What's so great about these:
- 100% UVA/UVB sun protection.
- Wrap-around design to guard against peripheral sunlight.
- Flexible frame and temples.
- Every pair comes with a removeable neoprene strap.

| Xtreme Sports Ages 3-7 |
What's so great about these:
- 100% UVA/UVB lenses are shatterproof, impact-resistant polycarbonate with dual-texture surfaces.
- Durable, wrap-around, foam-backed polycarbonate frame minimizes exposure to peripheral light.
- Includes a MicroFiber sleeve to clean lenses and protect the shades.

| My First Shades Ages 0-3 |
- Adjustable neoprene bands are so comfortable, babies happily wear them.
- The neoprene bands make these shades float in water. So, overboard is not lost forever.
- Shatterproof, impact-resistant polycarbonate lenses and frames stand up to kid life.
- Frames can even be fitted with prescription lenses, if you need to.
Real Kids Shades is working closely with Prevent Blindness America to educate the public on the importance of protecting children’s eyes. As parents, we are very careful to cover our children head to toe with sunscreen, but forget how important it is to protect their eyes. We need toprotect their skin with sunblock and protect their eyes with 100% UVA/UVB blocking Real Kids Shades.

a great brand and very good review
This is the first time I have heard of these. They sound wonderful. Anything that protects my child's eyes from the sun is awesome in my book. Thanks for sharing this because I never knew they existed.

Very nice! I like the strap my son would never keep them on without that.
these are super cute, and I like the fact that they have a strap for the younger ones to keep them from falling off... my grandsons both own a pair of the blue ones with flames on them and can't wait to start using them this summer!
I love that they protect the peripheral vision, too.
I love these. I am thinking about putting a pair in each of my kids easter baskets for spring :) -Heather McKenzie Carter
